Anthony Aguayo is a 2022 SS/RHP, 2B with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Grand Terrace, CA who attends Colton. Medium build with room to fill out as he continues to develop. Primary infielder, athletic upon approach. Gathers well, shows some softness to his glove work out in front. Arm strength across the diamond will continue to improve alongside his build. On the mound, has a longer arm action from a high three-quarters slot. Stays very linear down the mound. Fastball sits 75-77 mph, compact motion overall. Some slight cutting actions to his fastball. Mixes in an 11-to-5 shaped curveball as well as a 68 mph off-speed pitch. At the plate, uses an open and narrow stance with a leg kick trigger. Heavy bat wag pre-pitch. Elevated barrel plane through the zone. At his best when working through the middle of the field.
