Liam Peterson is a 2019 SS/RHP with a 6-3 155 lb. frame from Bremerton, WA who attends Evergreen Lutheran HS. Large frame with broad shoulders and a slender build. Ran a 7.83 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary shortstop. Deliberate footwork when working to and through the ball. Loose exchanges releasing from a lower slot. Accurate carry to the bag on throws topping out at 75 miles per hour. Righthanded hitter with a wide spread stance to start. Short path to contact from a deep hand load. Consistent middle of the field contact with a repeatable approach. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a short side step delivery into a medium leg lift. Medium arm circle in the back with arm speed into an extended three-quarters slot. Fastball shows occasional running action and topping out at 72 miles per hour. Average spin on a short slider. Feel for pitches able to fill up the zone and work to weak contact. Very good student as well.
