Peyton Bowers is a 2019 OF/RHP with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Sammamish, WA who attends Bellevue Christian. Lean athletic build, lots of room to get stronger, younger look for a senior. 7.65 runner, has loose and athletic actions in the outfield, moves through the ball well with good glove actions and a quick and compact arm circle, fundamentally sound skills. Right handed hitter, hits from an open wide stance with a level line drive swing, times the ball well with consistent mechanics, inside swing path with a middle of the field approach, will improve offensively in tandem with how much stronger he can get. Also pitched, compact arm action with a rotational delivery, has good direction to the plate from the wind up but tends to fall off from the stretch. Fastball topped out at 74 mph with good running life when he gets it down. Slurve type breaking ball showed good spin and tightness. Good student.
