Ryan Barrett is a 2020 OF/ with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Marblehead, MA who attends Governor Dummer Academy. Athletic, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.34 seconds. Hits from an even-based, slightly spread stance with low back elbow, hovering leg lift, barrel tends to drag at times, creates length, line drive swing plane with whole-field approach, shows contact skills and ability to work back up the middle. Worked out in the outfield and showed well, positions quickly and consistently, reads the ball well and gets good jumps, plays through the ball well with good momentum and balance, clocked up to 80 mph on throws from easy, controlled release. Good student.
