Jaden Arruda is a 2023 SS/RHP, 2B with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Seekonk, MA who attends Seekonk. Medium frame with compact, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 8.63 seconds. Hits from even-based stance, minimal hand load, line drive swing plane through the zone, hits off of back side, smaller leg lift, hands work well through swing, consistent barrel skills, quality bat-to-ball overall, projects well with the bat as he gains strength. Worked out in the infield, feet work well to both sides as well as moving in, elongated windup and subsequent release across the diamond, smooth arm stroke, clocked up to 67 mph on throws. Also pitched, crossfire short stride downhill, compact arm stroke through the back, fastball worked 65-69 mph with good control of the zone, threw a lot of strikes.
