Employs a side saddle start with clean receiving actions. Flashed quick footwork gaining ground well from behind the plate. Showed clean transfers into throws with good arm strength and accurate carry to second base topping out at 74 mph and posted a 2.06 second pop time from behind the plate. Also worked out defensively in the infield. Flashed clean, athletic actions working to and through the baseball with quick footwork. Displayed confident glove actions with clean transfers into throws with good arm strength topping out at 78 mph across the infield. Right handed hitter. Employs a even, narrow stance with a big stride into contact. Showed a slightly elevated barrel path through the zone with good bat speed. Displayed the ability to create jump off the barrel to the pull side when on time and squared. Also pitched at the event. Employs a small side step to belt high leg lift staying slightly flexed at gather going to drop and drive actions down the mound, landing online with the plate and staying online with the plate through finish. Flashed a long, loose arm action going to a three-quarter slot with developing arm speed. Showed a fastball with good feel for the zone up to 83 mph complemented with a sweeping curveball inducing some swing and miss at 60 mph. Great student.
