Nik Rango is a 2017 LHP/ with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Hopewell Junction, NY who attends Trinity-Pawling HS. Tall and well-built frame with present physicality and size. Recorded a 4.08 30-yard dash. Primary pitcher who threw from a three-quarter arm slot and hides the ball well. The arm action is pretty clean and he showed a three-pitch mix. Attacked hitters with the fastball and the pitch had some short arm side run. The pitch was best when it was low in the zone and particularly to the arm side. The curveball has slurve-like movement to it and flashed shape and depth at times. Could throw the pitch for strikes and swings and misses. Kept his pitches around the strike zone. Good student.
