Carter Stai is a 2020 3B/RHP, 1B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from White Bear Lake, MN who attends White Bear Lake. Medium frame with solid present build; ran 60 yard dash in 8.10 seconds. Crouches into back leg when loading at the plate, hands locked back into bar through load, rotates lower half and torso well into swing, toe tap trigger, gets barrel out front at times and shows contact skills. Primary infielder, comes in on the ball and shows good hands out front, clean two-hand funnel, compact arm stroke on throws across, clocked up to 70 mph from shortstop and 71 mph from first base. Also pitched, slower tempo to delivery, high three quarters slot release, cross-body delivery, fastball worked 68-70 mph down in the zone, showed curveball with 11/5 shape.
