Zane Dewar is a 2020 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-9 120 lb. frame from Bellevue, WA who attends Interlake HS. Very slender young build, minimal present strength. Good footwork through the ball in the outfield, has a quick exchange and release, tends to fall off to his glove side when throwing, developing arm strength, Left handed hitter, open stance with a tight hand load, limited lower half shift into contact, mostly takes short inside swings but flashed some beginning bat speed when he turned on the ball and got the barrel out Also pitched, big side step start, short stride out front and doesn't always get over his front side. Fastball topped out at 61 mph, showed confidence in throwing his breaking ball. Very good student.
