Jackson Spencer is a 2020 SS/RHP with a 5-9 135 lb. frame from Jacksonville, FL who attends Stanton College Prep. Younger player with a lean, slender frame, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Posted a 7.52 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, set up nicely to the ball, fielded out front, and threw a low three quarter arm slot. Quick footwork through the ball and threw from all angles. Developing arm strength, but clean overall actions. At the plate, started with a spread stance, even base, high back elbow, and a quick toe tap timing mechanism. Longer swing path with an opposite field approach. Lifted swing plane with developing bat-to-ball skills. Will continue to improve offensively with age and additional strength. Also pitched, small side step start, short arm circle through the back, and threw from a high three quarter arm slot. Fastball worked 67-70 mph and also flashed a curveball with 11/5 shape. Showed a changeup as well with short arm side life. Mixed pitches well and repeated his delivery. Exceptional student.
