Johnny Crossan is a 2019 OF/RHP with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Maple Valley, WA who attends Tahoma HS. Shorter young build, tightly wound build, with some present strength. 7.39 runner, has good fundamentals in the outfield and gets rid of the ball quickly, makes accurate throws, would be interesting to see at second base. Left handed build, spread straight stance, simple short swing he repeats well, has the beginnings of some bat speed and projects as a hitter, mid field to pull side line drive contact. Good athlete who should continue to improve. Also pitched, compact arm action, pulls his upper body off line in delivery but still throws strikes. Fastball topped at 75 mph, had confidence in his curveball and used it often and effectively. Good student.
