Logan Mueller is a 2018 SS/3B with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Columbus, NE who attends Columbus Scotus. Medium frame with an athletic build. Projects for additional strength. Ran a 7.07 sixty-yard dash. Primary shortstop, stays low while traveling to the baseball and rounds with smooth actions. Clean glove actions while funneling and worked through exchange with fluidity. Flashed solid range to each side and created accurate carry across the infield from a low three-quarters slot, topped at 82 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, slightly open stance and large hanging trigger. Creates slight coil at load and works to contact with rotational lower half actions. Loose hand path to baseball with a slightly lifted plane through extension. Flashed present bat speed with strength at contact and swung with intent to drive the ball with authority. Ball jumped off the barrel well when squared and showing the developing feel to work to all fields when maintaining balance. Also pitched utilizing a simple side step to medium leg lift delivery. Stays balanced on back side at gather and worked to the plate with drop and drive actions. Medium arm circle and released from a three-quarters slot. Fastball created some run to arm side in the mid to upper 70's, topped at 80 miles per hour. Slider showed 9/4 shape with good spin and shorter tilt to glove side. Flashed a changeup that generated some sink in the low 70's. Consistently looked to challenge hitters down in the zone with all three pitches and induced weak contact while on the mound. Good student as well.
