Jose Daniel Pichardo is a 2019 C/3B with a 5-10 190 lb. frame from Santo Domingo Oeste, SD who is home schooled. Short frame with a physical build. Ran a 7.63 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a catcher. Starts with a low stance. Stands up during transfer with little ground gained. Has some carry to the bag with accurate throws. Topped out at 74 miles per hour and popped a 2.05 in workouts. Righthanded hitter with a spread and open stance. Utilizes a big leg lift trigger for timing. Longer swing path with a high finish. Shows some pop when getting the barrel out front and on time. Middle of the field approach with occasional pull side line drives.
