Clayton Taylor is a 2018 C/ with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Lakeland, FL who attends Santa Fe Catholic High School. Medium build with an athletic frame and present strength already. Posted a 6.97 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary catcher with developing catch and throw skills as well as raw arm strength with a best pop time of 2.17. At the plate, started with his hands away from his body with a simple stride to the ball. Deep hand load at start with a linear, rotational swing path and showed the ability to create backspin. Will see more consistent results with additional drive and lift through his lower half. Good student.
