Colby Hoover is a 2022 RHP/3B with a 6-5 200 lb. frame from West Plains, MO who attends Dora. Athletic build with present strength and room to fill out. Ran a 7.58 second sixty-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary infielder. Displayed out front funnels with confident glove actions. Flashed deliberate closing actions working to and through the baseball with developing footwork. Showed good range working to both sides of the infield. Flashed clean transfers into throws with good arm strength and accurate carry to first base topping out at 79 mph. Right handed hitter. Employs an even stance with a leg lift trigger. Uses a line drive plane through the zone with good barrel speed creating consistently driven line drives to the middle and pull fields. Displayed good jump off the barrel to the pull side when on time and squared as well. Good student.
