Sean Whorley is a 2017 SS/2B with a 5-10 135 lb. frame from Torrance, CA who attends West Torrance. Medium, slender frame with athletic present build and good room to continue filling out body. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.51 seconds. Coils front hip inwards into load, simple toe tap trigger, higher hand set with clean hand path into swing. Very quiet mechanics overall in the box, shorter stride with some hip torque, line drive swing plane with solid barrel control and overall contact ability. Worked out defensively in the infield. Showed solid fundamental mechanics throughout fielding actions, shows good footwork to and through fielding the baseball. Clean crow hop into quick, clean release with quality arm strength, infield velocity topped at 77 MPH with consistent accuracy. Good student.
