Austin Tidwell is a 2017 SS/2B with a 5-10 168 lb. frame from Calhoun, LA who attends West Ouachita HS. Medium athletic build, has the beginnings of some present strength. 7.03 runner, has good quickness in the middle infield on defense, moves to the ball well and is balanced charging, has athletic actions, arm strength still developing but made accurate throws. Right handed hitter straight stance with a wider base, keeps his hands close to his body through contact, inside swing path, stays short to the ball, mostly right centerfield contact, has a bit of bat speed that should keep improving with additional strength. Good student.
