Jake Guttman is a 2020 SS/C with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Coatesville, PA who attends Coatesville Area. Medium frame with slender, compact build; good projection remaining. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.01 seconds. Sets up to hit from slightly open stance, good shift into contact, smooth barrel through the zone on line drive swing plane, has whole-field approach and executes it well, showed best present pop to pull side, good projection offensively. Primary infielder, plays low to ground with solid range to both sides, flashed clean actions out front with hands, arm across clocked up to 74 mph. Also took catcher reps, quick feet out of crouch with good balance, quick transfer and subsequent release, clocked up to 73 mph on throws to 2nd base. Very good student.
