Zac Gray is a 2019 SS/2B/3B with a 6-3 165 lb. frame from Granger, IN who attends Adams HS. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders, long limbs and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.36 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, shows athleticism to actions and sound footwork coming through the ball, quick transfer and release, fields the ball out front and glove plays, low slot on throws create some tailing action across the diamond. Righthanded hitter, begins with an upright and open stance and a high hand set at the plate. Moving parts to load but shows rhythm with looseness to swing; utilizes a leg lift trigger to shift weight through lower half. Works the middle of the field with line drive contact, shows bat speed and projects well with additional physical strength. Very good student.
