Andrew Pratt is a 2017 2B/3B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from North Tustin, CA who attends Mater Dei HS. Medium, athletic build with broad shoulders and present strength throughout frame. Ran a 7.67 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, fields the ball out front well and funnels into transfer, gets body behind the ball and works through it, stays back on the ball, gets on top of throws well and shows arm strength across that will continue to project. Left-handed hitter, starts with a wide and slightly open stance with a high hand set and back elbow. Gets closed with front side at start of swing, small leg lift, line drive swing plane with good bat speed and a quick barrel through the zone. Ball comes off barrel well for build, exhibited ability to create good extension out front on swing with a consistent feel to pull side. Very good student.
