Laurence Palmer is a 2017 OF/2B with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Los Altos, CA who attends Bellarmine College Prep. Medium, lanky frame with good athletic build throughout; good room to fill out more. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.26 seconds. Hits with toe tap/leg lift hybrid trigger, quick trigger, line drive swing plane with good balance throughout swing mechanics. Can lift the ball into the air with authority, made consistent solid contact with willingness to use entire field. Worked out defensively in the outfield, shows athletic movements and actions to the ball. Good glove work to field quickly and cleanly, transfers well and shows very good arm strength. Outfield velocity topped at 82 MPH on throws to 3B and home. Very good student.
