Juan Robles is a 2017 OF/ with a 5-9 180 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends Lane Technical. Solid, althletic build. Open stance with good balance and rhythm at the plate. Shows a gap to gap approach with present bat speed when lower half is on time. Aggresive lower half actions to contact and maintains balance throughout swing. Swing trigger was inconsistent at times causing some timing issues. Projectable hitting tools with continued strength and fluidity. Short arm action with accuracy from the outfield, topped at 73 mph. Athletic close on baseball in the outfield with clean movements in transition and a fluid release. Very good student as well.
