Ethan Ivey is a 2019 OF/LHP with a 5-10 167 lb. frame from Cypress, TX who attends Cypress Ranch High School. Has a medium build and frame with broad shoulders. Short hand and barrel path to the ball, has line drive swing plane with lift at contact. Power could develop with better lower half. Has young tools to develop. Defensively, short sure steps to ball, clean actions, shows arm strength and projects for more. Also pitched, 3/4 arm slot, high leg lift to balance point with a hip/back turn at balance. Works lower half of zone well and shows a fading change up to keep hitters off balance.
