Will McGregor is a 2019 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Anderson, SC who attends T L Hanna. Large and strong build, mature and looks the part. Ran a 7.06 second. Primary lefthanded pitcher who only pitched and hit at the event, fluid motion and repeats delivery nicely, high leg kick with a hip turn at balance point, long and loose arm action up to a 3/4 arm slot, very high hand separation into take back, stays balanced throughout delivery, throws easy, could get more from lower half for added velocity. Fastball showed riding run to armside, topped out at 86 mph, flashed a curveball with 1-to-7 shape, developing spin, some feel for the strike zone with both offerings but could improve command moving forward. Lefthanded hitter, small leg lift trigger into swing, strength to lower half in swing, natural loft to swing plane, some strength off of the barrel when squared, flashed some loud bat speed through extension during round, balanced swing, pull approach with some juice. Great student. Named to 2018 Sunshine Southeast Top Prospect List.
