Tyler Huggins is a 2015 C/OF/1B with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Boynton Beach, FL who attends Park Vista HS. Tall, very projectable, strong frame with above average athleticism. Ran a 6.86 60 yard dash. Athletic catcher that gets the ball out very quickly. Has an outstanding throwing arm and stays on top of the ball consistently. Throws carry and has low, flexible actions behind the plate. High upside defensive catcher. Bats right-handed, works from a wide base and knows how to generate lift. Hits consistent line drives and extends well. Shows pull side power. Simple approach and times the ball well. Good student. Named to Top Prospect list.
