2023 West Academic Showcase (Tues-Wed)
Sawyer Sheldon is a 2024 OF/ with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Petaluma, CA who attends Petaluma HS. Started the event off clocking a fast 6.67 60-yard dash. Showed the ability to work through the baseball cleanly on a consistent basis making all the plays and one-hopping the glove consistently from the outfield. At the plate he employed a heavy pull approach in his BP round squaring the ball up consistently showing good bat speed and the ability to drive the ball.
