Markus Barbosa is a 2025 3B/RHP with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Kitchener, ON. Large frame with athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.46 seconds. Hits from spread stance with flexed knees, even base, high back elbow, compact swing path that gets on plane, showed ability to spray liners to all fields, projects well with more strength. Worked out in the infield, stiffness to hand actions, shows some lateral range, clocked up to 74 mph on throws across. Also pitched, worked from the stretch, drop and drive to crossfire land, short arm stroke, fastball worked 70-75 mph with control, showed slider with short tilting actions and flashed changeup with fade as well.
