Jackson Kohler is a 2018 OF/MIF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Lehi, UT who attends Lehi HS. Listed as a utility fielder but only threw from the outfield. Worked round the ball with momentum to the bag, short crow hop, with low 3/4 release point, ball did tail some but was online and accurate to the bag. At the plate he stands slightly open with weight in the back leg, looked like 60/40 weight distribution, hands stay low and the bat is vertical. Not much of a negative movement due to his weight distribution but creates separation and coil in the body before landing in a strong launch position. Obtains good hip extension in the lower half and works up to the ball with barrel speed. Great student.
