Nicholas Zielomski is a 2017 MIF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Fontana, CA who attends Fontana A. B. Miller HS. Medium frame with a solid, athletic build. Projects for additional strength while maintaining athleticism. Ran a 7.55 sixty yard dash. Primary middle infielder smooth paced, athletic footwork while surrounding the baseball. Funnels underneath the baseball with clean glove actions. Efficient, clean glove to hand exchanges while working through transfer. Created accurate throws across the infield with some carry, topped at 72 mph. Right handed hitter with a simple, balanced stance. Hands load to a deep, strong position back. Swings with intent to drive the baseball with a mid-field approach. Consistently squared up baseball throughout batting practice producing occasional rising line drives between the outfield gaps. Stayed balanced throughout swing and repeated a line drive swing path very well. Good student as well.
