Blake Crawford is a 2024 LHP/OF with a 6-4 195 lb. frame from West Linn, OR who attends West Linn. Worked out on the mound only at the Northwest Prospect Showcase. Features a long, lean, projectable, athletic frame. Methodical core high lift with full smooth stroke and three-quarters release. Fastball has jump out of the hand with running life through the zone. Command stood out early in the outing working the fastball off the plate away from the right-handed hitter. Went to the chageup primarily against right-handed hitters, offering shows well with quality arm side action. Slider is hard and stays on the fastball plane well on its way to the plate. One plane type action but solid none the less. Legit arm, clean delivery with stand out three-pitch mix. He is a very good student.
