Southwest Elite Champ. Scout Notes

Connor Maxfield- Texas Stix 2029 Black
Maxfield was a fun hitter to watch over the weekend. Though slightly undersized he’s got plenty of bat speed. Tips his barrel for timing and stays fluid through the zone. Hammered a triple to LCF through the wind that jumped off the bat. Showed adaptability when he doubled on a breaking ball down in the zone later in the day.

Colton Drinkard- Cooperstown Cobras Crook 13u
Tall third baseman with a projectable frame. Played well on both sides of the ball. Showed some range on a ball in the 6 hole. Adequate arm strength. Aggressive, looking to do damage in the box. Good job on FB up in the zone when he smoked a single to LF.
