Las Vegas Presidents Day Scout Notes

Braden Pearson (2025, Cheyenne, WY) showcased some of the louder stuff on the mound. The Texas commit cruised through four hitless innings while striking out four hitters. A clean, compact delivery gets down the mound well. Quick arm speed is shown on a shorter arm action, helping generate easy velocity. The fastball sat 86-89 mph throughout the outing. Quality ride allowed the offering to generate whiffs at the top of the zone. A sharp curveball at 78-80 mph showed tight, downward action. Late bite and depth allowed the offering to generate swing and misses often. It was an impressive showing from start to finish.
