Brett Holmes is a 2018 RHP/OF, 2B, 3B with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Norristown, PA who attends Archbishop John Carroll HS. Has broad shoulders with sign of strength throughout. On the mound, slow pace, full hands over the head delivery while staying online. Throws from a three-quarters arm slot with a short arm circle. Fastball has sinking action down in the zone, curveball shows 12/6 shape with big break. From the outfield, has short footwork to the baseball and makes accurate throws to target base. At the plate, right-hand hitter that starts with a high handset, high back elbow, and an upright narrow stance. Stays on plane with swing, balanced throughout, gets barrel moving to the baseball with a middle of the field approach. Good student.
