Anthony Kahley is a 2018 C with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from York, PA who attends West York Area. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength to frame, additional room to fill out moving forward. Ran a 7.30 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, works hard behind the plate and gains short ground with lower half, quick transfer into full arm action, some whip at release, shows accuracy to the intended base when on top of throws, 1.91 best pop to second. In the box begins with an upright stance and hands pulled back at the beginning of swing. Small stride through lower half moving into contact, full swing path through the zone with sound bat speed and strength to hands. Upper body swing, occasionally gets to front side early but shows ability to go with outer half pitch and work opposite field, looks to lift the ball out front at contact. Very good student.
