William Molloy is a 2020 SS/2B, MIF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Lexington, KY who attends Tates Creek. Lanky build with room for added strength. Ran a 7.35 second sixty-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary infielder. Flashed the ability to work around and through the ball with clean footwork and good range working to both sides of the infield. Displayed the ability to work through the backhand with clean glove actions as well. Showed good arm strength with accurate carry across the infield topping out at 78 mph. Right handed hitter. Employs a slightly open stance with a high hand and high back elbow set up. Flashed a level barrel path through the zone looking to drive line drives and ground balls to the pull side. Showed good barrel control creating consistent line drive and ground ball contact to the middle and pull parts of the field. Good student.
