Logan Ransom is a 2019 LHP/OF with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Mechanicsville, VA who attends Steward HS. Has a medium frame, broad shoulders, clear sign of present strength in frame. Posted a 7.78 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, smooth paced delivery, high leg lift up past the belt, generates good direction toward the plate. Throws from a 3/4 arm slot, quick arm action, stays long and loose. Fastball has natural arm side run, mixes location well. Changeup has some natural cutting action, developing command. Curveball has solid depth, good sharpness. Has some feel on the mound for a young kid. From the outfield, quick actions to the baseball, quick transfers as well. Made accurate throws, good arm strength up to 82 MPH. At the plate, left-handed hitter that starts with an open stance. Pull side approach, showed bat speed and developing strength. Outstanding student.
