Spencer Pellegrino is a 2017 RHP/OF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Kennett Square, PA who attends Unionville. Large frame with athletic, highly projectable build. Ran 60 yard dash in 6.86 seconds. Primary pitcher, big leg kick under chin, exclusively from the stretch, throws from low-3/4 arm slot with slinger arm speed, good life to the arm side on fastball, pitch worked 77-79 MPH. Extends out front well, shows solid feel for CH with good arm speed, also flashed CB with slurvy shape. Sets up to hit from wide-based stance with high back elbow, simple leg lift trigger, line drive swing plane, rotational in torso, will use entire field. Moves well to ball in the OF, fields cleanly, gets off quick release from multiple slots, clocked up to 76 MPH. Good student.
