Cooper Goff is a 2027 OF/RHP/3B with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Herriman, UT. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean build, room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.30 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves well on feet, fields the ball off to the side on approach, deliberate tempo to actions and footwork, showed accuracy on throws, occasionally gets under the ball, some present arm strength and will continue to develop. Also pitched, leg lift up to core at start, shorter stride coming down the mound and lands on line. Medium length arm stroke up to a high three-quarters release point, can continue to incorporate lower half into drive towards plate. Fastball topped out at 80 mph, lower spin rates to it and showed comfort mixing a changeup at 71 mph with fading life; developing curveball up to 68 mph with short life. Left-handed hitter, begins with an even base and a lower hand set and back elbow; loads hands back at start and gathers weight on backside. Swung the bat very well in live action, turned on baseballs with ease and comfort showing leverage to path and quickness in hands. Ball jumps well, comfort going to pull side gap projects well with added strength, repeats swing well. Verbal commitment to TCU.
