2022 California Workout Showcase (Saturday)
Moises Razo is a 2026 OF/LHP with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from El Monte, CA. Lean and long young athletic build. Runs very well for his age, 6.99 in the sixty. Played both the outfield and first base on defense, shows some lower half athleticism and balance, fielded the ball cleanly at both positions, developing arm strength, actions at first base were more advanced at present but no reason he shouldn't develop well in the outfield with his athleticism. Left handed hitter, hits from a narrow stance with a short stride into contact, foot can get late at time, uphill swing plane, can get into his lower half better for better flow and power in his swing. Also pitched, gets down the mound well and syncs up his arm and his lower half well, athletic delivery, over the top arm slot. Upper 70's fastball with good arm side run and nice downhill plane, threw his fastball for strikes. Change up was a nice second pitch with full arm speed and fading action. Showed his athleticism well on the mound and has two way potential.
