2023 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
Thomas Antonio is a 2025 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Springfield, VA who attends West Springfield. A taller frame that's well proportioned with strength throughout. A more physical look to him. Ran a 7.65 60-yard dash. A primary corner infielder. He fielded the ball deep and showed some carry on his throws at 80 mph, working across the diamond. Adjusted slots as needed and was accurate with throws across and feeds to second base. Worked well overall with a clue for the footwork during his round of defensive reps at first base. A left-handed hitter with a wider base, open stance, and high back elbow. The hands are set higher, and he uses a big hanging leg lift trigger to get on time. Showed the ability to stay inside the ball through contact. Lower half incorporated well when he stays synced up, using strength as well. Projectable traits in the batters' box. Produced an 84 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Added 2 hits in-game as well. Good student. Named to 2023 PG Main Event TP List.
