Brody Loch is a 2025 C/OF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Howell, NJ who attends Howell. Works from a longer medium build with some room to fill. Primary catcher, starts in a side saddled stance, gains some ground on the transfer, utilizes a deeper arm path behind the head that works into a compact arm stroke, kept the throws around the bag, recorded arm strength up to 73 mph and a pop time of 2.11. Right-handed pitcher, starts from the first base side of the rubber, utilizes compact mechanics and releases from a high three-quarters slot, generates some good arm speed, commanded his three-pitch mix fairly well, fastball showed some heaviness and topped out at 84 mph, landed a breaking ball with two-plane depth for strikes, can pitch backwards with it. Right-handed hitter, starts in a slightly open base with a high back elbow and high hand set-up, utilizes a toe-tap trigger, remains short to the baseball and creates good bat speed, repeatable and direct approach, produced several line drives to all parts of the field, recorded an exit velocity of 81 mph. Ran a 7.47 sixty-yard dash. Excellent student. Named to the Mid-Atlantic Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
