Steven Tavares is a 2025 3B/1B with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Jefferson, GA who attends Jefferson. Big, sturdy build with obvious strength in the frame. Ran a 7.29 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, athletic actions and made every play, natural feel for the leather, comfortable bouncing off the bag and sound footwork. Flexible in the lower half, accurate throws across with carry were recorded up to 86 mph. Right-handed hitter, slightly open upright stance, big time strength off the barrel, busy hands in the load, peppered the gaps consistently. Turns the barrel over hard and recorded some monstrous exit velocities in the round, showing off the strength. Named to WWBA Workout Showcase (Sat) Top Prospect List.
