Isaac Rojas is a 2025 IF/RHP with a 5-8 170 lb. frame from Riverside, CA who attends Santiago. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength proportioned throughout. Primary infielder, shows active footwork on the approach to the ball, rounds it well and shows nice range to either sides, confident actions and repeats them well, works to a lower slot, some effort across with present strength on throws to first base. Also pitched, abbreviated wind up with a longer arm stroke through the back, works up to a higher three-quarters with some deception in back. Fastball topped out at 82 mph, occasionally mistimed with release, throws with intent, mostly true in life through the zone. Pitched to contact and mixed a short slurve thru the zone up to 69 mph with developing depth. Right-handed hitter, begins with an even base and has timing components to swing; handsy stroke and shows real whip to them while generating consistent extension out front. Works on a linear path through the zone with present bat speed, shows jump off of the barrel and works through the ball nicely, gets long at times but can work the gaps. Very good student.
