David Riddick Jr. is a 2025 1B with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Chesapeake, VA who attends Deep Creek. Big and strong build. Left handed hitter, hits from an open bent knee stance, has a quick and high leg raise and close trigger to start his swing, hands start tight with some barrel wrap, has strength in his swing when pulling the ball, ball comes off the barrel well, more contact oriented the opposite way, strength and talent here to develop. Primary first baseman on defense, plays low to the ground and bends his knees well, tends to field the ball too deep, first base arm strength. Will play as high as his bat takes him. Good student.
