Nathan Leal is a 2024 RHP/2B with a 5-7 175 lb. frame from Riverside, CA who attends Martin Luther King Jr. Features a shorter, sturdy frame with a strong lower half. On the mound he has a simple operation with fluid actions. Throws strictly out of the stretch out of a three-quarter arm slot. Locates fastball in all four quadrants with a curveball that has eleven-five movement. Changeup has late cut. Challenged on the inner half throughout the outing. On the infield, showed a clean backhand with a quick transfer and an accurate arm. Probably has a future at a corner spot. At the plate he has a wide base with a pigeon toed front foot. Shows solid bat speed with healthy launch and coil. Strong at impact with all fields intent keeping everything on a line. Ran a 7.75 sixty-yard dash. Good student.
