Gavin Wesling is a 2025 3B/RHP, 1B, SS with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Clinton, WI who attends Clinton. Tall lean frame. In the infield, he moves well for the size with good timing to the footwork. Strong accurate arm across the dimaond with ability to adjust the slot and deliver on the run. Glove could use some refinement but has the phyiscal tools. Right-handed hitter, moderate-wide base with open stance. Initial move is a deep load that creates good separation. Evident strength in the frame shows well at impact. Controls the barrel and does well to stay level through impact. Got extended and cleared the hips frequently. Line drive oreineted approach with real strength. On the mound, moderate lift and tall and fall style mechanics. Free and loose arm. Soft front side but frequently commands the fastball. Curveball has short 12-6/11-5 action. Forced weak contact in a brief outing. Good projection. 6.89 60-yard. Excellent student. Named to the Top Prospect list.
