Sam Rodriguez is a 2025 C/1B, 2B, 3B with an athletic 5-8 170 lb. frame from South Pasadena, CA who attends St. Francis HS. Started off the event clocking a 7.90 60-yard dash. A primary catcher that showed excellent technique and actions behind the plate. Showed proper foot/glove work, clean transfers and delivered crisp accurate throws to second base consistently. At the plate he shows present bat speed and demonstrated he could barrel up the baseball on a consistent basis in his BP round. There is definite power potential here. Excellent student.
