Nathan Heck is a 2026 C/RHP with a 6-1 220 lb. frame from New Baltimore, MI who attends Anchor Bay. Primary catcher with a physical build behind the dish. Starts out wide in the crouch and transfers away from body. Gains some ground through the plate and pops up athletically. Showed good strength behind his throws with a quick transfer and release. Throws were accurate around the bag. Was up to 75 from behind the plate with a 2.08 pop time. Also ran a 9.20 sixty. Also pitched throwing from a high 3/4 slot with shorter arm action. Fastball got up to 80 playing firm for the most part. Went to a curve with 10-4 shape as well. Right-handed hitter with a wider base and deep handset. Turns the front foot and swings hard. Good Student.
