Andrew Schneider is a 2025 1B/3B with a 6-2 230 lb. frame from Valley City, OH who attends Buckeye. Extra big and strong build, very mature physically. Left handed hitter, hits from a slightly open balanced start with a big late leg raise and rock back trigger that can leave him late against velocity, deep high hand load, lots going on before his swing, has big power and bat speed once he gets the barrel moving, can drive the ball deep to both alley's with carry, will continue to improve with pre-swing adjustments. 7.47 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, has very soft hands and picks the ball well, agile feet coming off the bag, plenty of arm strength for the position, stood out defensively at first base and has improved athletically since last year.
