Colton Floyd is a 2027 3B/RHP, 1B, SS, OF, UT with a 6-5 205 lb. frame from Albuquerque, NM who attends Sandia. Features a long, lean, athletic, projectable frame with room to add. Has a three-pitch mix that includes fastball, curveball and changeup. Clean operation, throwing out of a high three-quarter slot with long arm action. The delivery stays balanced and is repeatable. Fastball has arm side run coupled with a curveball that has eleven-five shape and is firm. Works through the ball in the outfield while fielding out front. Has a quick, accurate arm with carry. Moved well laterally on the infield while showing proper glove mechanics. Does a nice job working through and showcased a big, accurate arm across the diamond. Has a medium base at the plate with an upright, slightly open stance. Toe tap trigger with a weigh shift load. Pull side approach with present bat speed. Gets the barrel extended with a high finish. Stayed on the screws throughout the weekend. Ran a 7.43 sixty-yard dash. Good Student.
